Luke

There's a really simple natural way to relieve your allergies. You rinse out your nose! It sounds gross and painful, but it's not. Well, maybe a little gross. When I do it, it relieves my allergies for days! It even helps when I have a cold. The article below has instructions and a video that will show you how. (It's a bit tricky, but definitely worth the trouble.)

Aden

You don't want to go see a regular physician because they will just want you to get shots and put you on more meds which don't do nothing it just supresses the symptoms instead of getting to the root of the problem. I too used to suffer from horrible allergies to where I needed an inhaler and couldn't even breathe and yes to stuff out side too. I started to take this stuff called ALJ or Histablock.

ALJ is an herbal blend that actually helps in not just taking the symptoms away but builds your immune system to fight it. For instance if you are allergic to cotton if you start to take it every time you have an attack or reaction until your symptoms stop then next time you get a smell of it your immune system will fight it off naturally and eventually you won't have a reaction to it at all.

With Histablock it does the same thing but is much more stronger. Usually works with in 20 minutes. I take 4 every hour until the symptoms stop with Histablock and with ALJ I take 2 every hour until symptoms stop.

Jordan

I definitely would not mix the two. The Benadryl allergy has decongestant in it, which is what the Claritin D has. My advice would be not to take them together. The Claritin D should take care of it. We prescribed more Zyrtec than the Claritin D. Seemed to work better on allergy symptoms.

i'm not an exxpert on medication, but don't mix 2 different medicines that are for the same thing. people do that all the time, they think that they are feeling better, but truthfully it's damaging them more than they think. stick to one, not both. and if you are still not sure, ask a doctor or pharmascist.

Maggie

The best way is to go to the hospital to have your blood taken. They can prescribe you with a more personal medication than pollen allergy in general.

Michaela

as long as you do not have any underlying heart conditions (ie high blood pressure) try otc decongestant like sudifed or advil cold/sinus. warm salt gargels, warm compressed to the face or letting warm water run over your face (like in the shower) or saline nasel flushes ( try otc "ocean spray" )that should help with some of the symtoms. If you are experiencing alot of congestion I would try to avoid plain antihystamines like benadryl, try getting one with a decongestant (again no heart problams) like clariten d or alavert d. you may also request a rx rrom your md. You may even ask for a nasal spray. Either way check with you pharmasist for suggestions and possible medicine reactions- thats what they are there for.. there usually the best source of info!!
